FAQs
1. JOBS
Unfortunately, we do not currently have the resources to support volunteer placements. If your child is older (Gr 11+) they are welcome to apply for any open job vacancies via Indeed, which we use to manage our summer recruiting process.
Unfortunately, we do not currently have the resources to support onsite attendance at job fairs.
There is no “franchise fee.” We require a small, refundable “Performance Bond” (e.g., $5,000 – $10,000 CDN per Codezilla Starter Kit) as a security deposit for the laptops, equipment and brand kits we provide for your camp location.
Not at all. Codezilla will tap into your knowledge of your local community to help identify ideal locations. We then handle the location contract using our Site-Selection Playbook.
Your focus is on “Feet on the Street” local marketing, community partnerships and management of your local camp team.
You receive a significant percentage (a 50/50 split) of the net profit from your specific camp location. There is no ceiling on your earnings; the better your location performs, the more you make.
Initially, we require a “hands-on” commitment to a single territory. Once that location hits specific enrollment benchmarks, we discuss expanding your leadership to a second or third neighborhood.
Codezilla invests in you as one of our valued employees. You receive training before camp opens, periodic onsite visits during camp season and ongoing weekly check-ins online throughout summer.
It usually takes 3-4 weeks, depending on your prep and application completeness, but you can take up to a year to complete the process.
Your Codezilla Remote License is a digital “Business-in-a-Box”. It gives you access to Codezilla’s proprietary assets, such as our teacher-approved STEM and Coding curriculum, marketing materials and a shopping list of required electronics and equipment, bundled together with Codezilla training. It costs $2,000 – $2,500 USD per license, on a “per educator” or “per center” license fee.
No, we understand that you may be looking for a turn-key way to start teaching quickly using a trusted brand name. That’s where our Codezilla Licensed curriculum can help.
We do not control your local operations, pricing or staff hiring. Our role is to
ensure “Brand Quality.” You must follow our curriculum standards and use our
approved logos, but you have 100% autonomy over how you run your operations.
Instead of complex royalties, we charge a flat Annual License Fee ($2,000 –
$2,500 USD) and a one-time Training & Onboarding Fee. This covers your access
to our Digital Curriculum Portal, marketing templates and staff training videos.
We provide a “Global Spec Sheet.” You source your own laptops and STEM kits
locally based on our specifications. This saves you in international shipping and
customs fees.
Training is 100% virtual. You and your lead instructors will complete our
“Codezilla Certification,” which includes webinars, video modules and a final
“Live Demo” session with our Toronto trainers.
