Mom- and Teacher–operated in Toronto since 2017
We created the summer camp that we wanted for our kids and students!

Sheri Allain
Mom, Educator & Chief Lizard

Hi! I’m Sheri!
I started Codezilla Kids with my 2 young daughters and 2 suitcases of equipment in the back of my lil’ hatchback, zipping around Toronto and visiting schools.
My goal was to give my girls — and other kiddos — Educational Fun while helping to future-proof them with critical STEM and coding skills. Fortunately, principals, teachers and parents at 45+ schools in Toronto agree with us!
As a mom-run small business, our values are:
- Education – hands-on learning, kid-appropriate screen time
- Employment – good jobs for young adults
- Giving Back – donating to our local schools
When summer camp is over, I’m still teaching! I return to the University of Toronto, where I teach Digital Marketing to 100+ students each semester. My passion is to Empower Youth!
Teacher-endorsed. Kid-loved. Mom-run since 2017.

Ashley O’Doherty
Camp Director & Educator

Hi! I’m Ashley!
I’m a passionate educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Youth Studies and a deep love for working with kids. I’ve been involved in camps since 2008, and they’ve played a huge role in shaping who I am—campfires, themed days, messy art projects, and all. That hands-on, high-energy environment taught me how powerful connection, creativity, and a little chaos can be when working with children.
Now, I work as an Educational Assistant with the school board, where I support students of all abilities in their learning journeys. I love finding ways to meet kids where they’re at—whether that means adapting lessons, celebrating small wins, or just being a calm and caring presence in their day.
Over the years, I’ve also seen how valuable it is for kids to explore the world of STEM and coding—not just for future careers, but for building confidence, problem-solving skills, and a sense of curiosity. I’m passionate about helping children discover that they can learn to code, build, and create—even if it feels challenging at first.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple goal: to make every child feel seen, supported, and capable of amazing things.
