This is a great opportunity for regular part-time work with flexible time commitments.

We welcome university/college students, recent grads or supply teachers with STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Math) backgrounds AND/OR Education backgrounds with strong tech skills or willingness to learn.

We're a fast-growing educational company looking for more extraordinary instructors to teach technology and computer programming to school-aged kids (Kindergarten - Grade 8). We introduce kids to coding and technology, both in-class and after school, using a combination of software, apps and fun tech toys.


You will be matched with another adult instructor and responsible for teaching at a school(s) or at our workshop locations within the GTA (all locations are close to TTC).

You will arrive on time, help set up the room and equipment, and be responsible for teaching and inspiring the kids.



  • You need to be reliable, responsible & organized (no last minute cancellations)

  • You have the confidence to teach, the patience to work with kids and the personality to make each session fun.

  • You’re a team player and eager to share your knowledge with others

  • You genuinely like kids! You are patient, good-tempered, and youthful in your attitude



  • YOU HAVE: solid tech skills AND solid communication skills and are comfortable sharing your knowledge with kids of various ages (from ages 4 - 14)

  • YOU LOVE: working with people, learning new things & tech toys (e.g. robotics, electrical circuits, making things) and are open to learning new things

  • YOUR SKILLS: coding experience may include: beginner coding programs, such as Scratch/Scratch Jr (tablet), Swift, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, app-making, etc.

  • MUST HAVE: experience working with kids or teaching youth


MANDATORY: vulnerable sector police checks for all hires. You will also receive onsite training on working with children.

** Training will be provided for both working with children and teaching technology using our program curriculum.**

Administrative Coordinator

Codezilla ( introduces kids in Toronto (Kindergarten - Grade 8) to coding and educational tech toys: in-class, after school, at camps and parties. Codezilla was founded in 2017 by Sheri Allain – Chief Lizard and Mom of two young girls – and has taught 500+ children to-date. Our goal is to give kids 'monster-sized' tech skills for life.  

Codezilla is expanding and we are looking to add a part time (8-10 hours per week) Administrative Coordinator (‘Lizard Leader’) to our team! Are you organized, and efficient? Are you looking for a part time job that is 100% remote? Are you looking for a job that will allow you to be available for your kids and also challenge you? Do you like the Codezilla mission? The Ideal Candidate: 

- Hardworking, responsible and organized

- Previous administrative experience (Parent Council and Volunteer experience welcome!)

- Able to work independently (this is 100% remote)

- Can liaise with a diverse team of coding instructors to ensure that teaching shifts are run efficiently 

- Familiar with children’s programs, schools, summer camps etc in Toronto

- Excellent research skills 

- Is confident in their ability to "get things done"

- Is excited about what we do! We are - we hope you are too!



Must Have 

- Solid Communication Skills

- Previous Administration experience 

- Experience in one of the following areas: staff scheduling and/or bookkeeping

- Experience with online research  


Nice to Have (But not necessary to apply!) 

- Experience working with children

- Grant writing experience
